Cor Jove Amics de la Unió
Directed by Marta Dosaiguas , the Cor Jove Amics de la Unió de Granollers is made up of about 50 young people between 18 and 26 years old who work in a mixed voice formation. The majority come from Veus – Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió or from music schools in the region. The choir stood out in 2019 by obtaining the First Prize in the youth choir category at the XLVIII Certamen Choral d’Ejea de los Caballeros and, in 2024 , it received a gold diploma in the Free category and a silver diploma in the Sacred category at the 29th edition of the Béla Bartók International Choir Competition in Debrecen, Hungary . In 2025, it was awarded the prize for Best Classical Music Album at the Enderrock Awards for the work ‘ Cants d’un ocell ‘, and it obtained third place in the Certamen Choral Ciudad de Granada .
As the resident choir at the Teatre Auditori de Granollers , the Cor Jove has performed in notable productions such as Revolution (2019) and Carmina Burana (2018). It has also performed on the country’s main stages , including the Girona Auditorium (Messies, 2019), the Barcelona Auditorium (Nadal a Broadway and Messies, 2019), the Palau de la Música Catalana (Carmina Burana, 2020 and Videojocs, 2024 and 2025) and the Gran Teatre del Liceu (El Monstre al Laberint, 2023 and 2025).
The Cor Jove Amics de la Unió regularly participates in festivals and exchanges at a national and international level, and has toured several countries. These experiences have consolidated it as a reference formation that stands out for its interpretative quality and its capacity for collaboration with other choirs and projects around the world.
